Who can display a vehicle in the credit union parking lot?
Only members of Michigan Tech Employees Federal Credit Union may display their vehicles in the parking lot.
When can I display my vehicle?
Space is available from May 1st to October 15th. Please note that this is maintenance-and weather-permitting and that you may be asked to move your vehicle if snow begins to accumulate or work needs to be done on the lot.
How long can I keep my vehicle in the lot?
There is a limit of two weeks in order to make space available for other members. Please let us know if your vehicle sells before the two weeks is up. If you are on a waiting list but sell your vehicle before you bring your car in, please let us know so we can move on to the next person in line.
Where should I park my vehicle?
There are six spaces available for displays on the southeast corner of the lot. The vehicle bumper should not extend over the curb so as not to interfere with the lawn care. The vehicle must fit in one parking space. Please note that the owner takes full responsibility for fluid leaks from the car on display.
Can prospective buyers inquire about my automobile at the credit union?
We do not provide information about the vehicle to interested parties, but we will provide them with your phone number if we receive an inquiry via telephone. Please have a complete description (including price and contact numbers) prominently displayed in the vehicle window.
How do I claim a spot in the lot?
Download a copy of our Vehicle Lot Agreement form, complete it, and provide it to Member Services. If we do not have a spot immediately available, we will put you on a waiting list and call you to let you know when you can drop off your vehicle.
If you have any additional questions, please contact Member Services at (906)482-5005.
